Labor Notes Conference 2022 Report

The annual Labor Notes conference was a flurry of people, ideas and joy. It was held in Chicago this month and featured speakers like Sean O’Brien, president of Teamsters; Chris Smalls, president of the Amazon Labor Union; and Sara Nelson, president of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA Thousands of people packed into the hotel to learn more about how to organize and build solidarity. Reproductive Justice Statement

Striking down Roe v. Wade is an attack on the working class in this country. We know that the wealthy will continue to travel to access safe abortions, while the poorest among us will be forced to choose between unwanted pregnancies and unsafe, potentially deadly abortions.
