As socialist feminists, reproductive justice to us means organizing towards a world in which abortion is free and safe, on demand, and without apologies, AND where we can give birth without being bankrupted by healthcare debt, have children without worrying how to raise them on starvation wages, and have safe and dignified housing.

Join us our working group to fight for reproductive justice in CT!

  • Rally at Hamden Town Hall

    September 28, 2022  4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Hamden Memorial Town Hall, 2364 CT-10, Hamden, CT 06518

Our rally at New Haven City Hall in December 2021 kicked off the process that led to the Tenant Union Ordinance in New Haven, landmark legislation that was just signed into law this month. Now it's Hamden's turn to formally empower tenant unions and pass bold legislation advancing tenant rights at the municipal level.

The Seramonte Tenant Union has been organizing against landlord negligence, abuse, and greed for most of 2022. You can read about them here, here, here, and (most relevantly) here. Show up on Wednesday in support and solidarity as the union demands not just a non-binding resolution, but an actual ordinance to empower tenant unions and chip away at landlord power.

    WHEN: Wednesday, September 28th, 4-5PM
WHERE: Hamden Memorial Town Hall: 2364 CT-10, Hamden, CT 06518
WHAT TO BRING: your chanting voice, water, friends and comrades
